Material

Find the material that best suits your needs among the following:

• Corrugated plastic 3.5 or 5 mm: white polypropylene panel with honeycomb core. The structure is wave-like, the outer panel is therefore slightly rippled
• 3.5 mm black honey-comb core panel: a polypropylene panel with dark grey bubble structure and external flat white surface (dark edges). This material is particularly scratch and weather resistant thanks to its rough surface. 100% recyclable

With their sturdy structure, these panels remain rigid even in larger sizes. Made from plastic and hollowed internally, they’re resistant to both rain and wind. While they should be securely anchored, they’re built to withstand the harshest weather, making them ideal for outdoor advertising, road signs, building sites, and real estate boards.

Thanks to their lightweight design, these materials are easy to handle and transport. With the accessories provided (see below), you can have your sign up and displayed injust a few minutes.

Please note that only corrugated plastic can be printed on both sides up to 280 x 180 cm (same or different printing); with this material you can create double sided boards to be hung from above or to be free standing with the help of a base support.

Formats

From the smallest plaque to the biggest panel, we’re able to offer you corrugated plastic printing in various customised sizes.

Find here the maximum and minimum size (in one piece) for each material:

• Corrugated plastic (both thicknesses) from 10 x 10 cm up to 190 x 290 cm
• Black honey-comb core from 10 x 10 cm up to 190 x 290 cm

Larger artworks will be divided into multiple panels, each of the same size, to be hung one close to the other, with no overlapping.

It’s true, there’s no limit to your customisation with Pixartprinting as a partner, but if you’re wondering which sizes are the most used, we also offer you various standard formats to choose from.

Please note that we can only handle an external custom cut based on the path you provide in the file, and we’re unable to process internal or multiple cuts.

Accessories & Varnish

If you’re wondering how to apply your corrugated plastic panel, we offer you multiple solutions to hang it:

• Extra-strong polycarbonate eyelets: transparent polycarbonate eyelets resistant to tearing and high tensile strength. Ideal in case you need to hang the panel on a structure (gates, balconies etc.), you’ll need ties or ropes to anchor it. The eyelets have a diameter of 2.5 mm and are placed 0.5 cm from the edge. Please note the material will look slightly pressed where the eyelets are placed. Insert how many accessories and where to place them while ordering, starting from the corners they’ll be located at the same distance from each other

• Holes: 9 mm diameter holes along the perimeter to easily fix your panel (screws not included). Insert how many hangers and where to place them while ordering, starting from the corners they’ll be located at the same distance from each other

• Double-sided adhesive hanging kit: to be attached one piece on the back of the printing, the other on the wall, suitable for easy and quick interchanging of panels onto the same surface. We also provide screws, and wall plugs for an extra strength, to be used on uneven surfaces if the panel does not adhere perfectly to the wall. Elements are provided for all 4 corners. Distance from the wall: 5 mm. Please use a drill cutter to avoid damaging the material

• Adjustable hanging kit: an invisible kit made of triangular plates to be attached on the back of the panel with the double-sided tape and screws and plugs to hang it on the wall. Once you’ve fixed the plates to the panel, insert the screw into the wall, hang the panel and adjust the angle (up to 45° to ensure its straight). Elements provided for 2 corners. Distance from wall: 15 mm

• Repositionable sticker kit: 4 removable and repositionable double-sided stickers that avoid having to drill into your walls. Sticker thickness: 3.5 mm. Individual sticker dimensions: 2.5 x 2.5 cm

• Self-adhesive spacer kit: 4 elements made of clear polycarbonate triangular plates to be attached to the back of the panel and silver nickel spacers. This kit, designed for easy fixation, includes removable side pieces to ensure the correct distance from the edge of the panel. Use double-sided tape to mark drill holes on the wall, then screw the nickel spacers in place. Finally, press gently to secure the panel to the wall. Distance from the wall: 20 mm

Please note that accessories may not be available for some combinations of material and dimension: the website shows only the available options according to your quote (e.g. eyelets are not available for honey-comb core panels)

For a stunning shine, add our glossy varnish to your panel. It will not only enhance your design but also protect the print from scratches. If you’re using the corrugated plastic board outdoors, we highly recommend the varnish for extra durability and protection.

Please note that varnish cannot be applied to black honey-comb core material due to its rough surface.
