How does invoicing with a VAT number work?

If you would like your order to be invoiced to a business or sole trader, you can add a VAT number during checkout.

How to add a VAT number to your order
  1. Log in to your account
  2. Add your desired products to your basket
  3. Proceed to checkout
  4. Enter your shipping address
  5. When asked "Would you like an invoice?", select Yes (no paper invoice will be included in the parcel)
  6. Select an existing billing address or create a new one
  7. Choose Company as the customer type (for both companies and sole traders)
  8. Enter your company name and VAT number, following the instructions provided

Please note that:

  • Orders can be placed either as a professional or private customer (with or without a VAT number)

  • The VAT number is applied at checkout level and can be changed for each new order

  • The VAT number must correspond to the billing and shipping country
  • The billing and shipping country must be the same
  • VAT numbers are automatically validated during checkout
  • VAT may or may not be charged depending on factors such as local tax regulations, the billing and shipping country, and whether the VAT number is valid for intra-EU transactions according to the VIES system
