How to use Designer

Our Designer tool is easy to use, but you will also find a tutorial (by clicking on the "?" symbol in the top right-hand corner once the tool is open) that explains its different functions.

You can learn more about how Designer works also from the dedicated page.

Here is a short guide to the tools available:

Once you have inserted your contents, move, rotate, duplicate or delete them as desired.

Refer to the guidelines (trim area, safe area, fold line) to layout correctly.

For large format products over certain dimensions, magenta dashed lines may appear to divide the print area in several parts meaning that the product will be divided up into multiple panels.

If your product is front and back printed or if the graphic is split in to two tables, remember to customise both tables: in the bar below the graphic and on the right, you will find the possibility to move between table 01 and table 02.

In the bar below you will also find the zoom and the settings that allow you to leave the guidelines (surface labels) and dimensions (artboard size) visible or not.

An exclamation mark may indicate that some of the elements inserted are at risk of being cut off or not visible, or that white edges may be printed.

For some products, instead of a 2D preview, you will find a 3D preview: use it to better understand the final look of your product, open and close it, and check your graphic layout.

You can also save a draft of your project by clicking "Save" in the top bar. The draft will be stored for 6 months in the "My designs" section of your personal area, and you can return to it at any time to edit it or complete your order. This feature is only available if you are logged into your account. For more information, you can read this article.

Once you have completed your project:

Click on "Continue" at the top right
Check the preview for quality and layout of your content
Click on "Add to basket" to proceed or on "Edit your files" at the top left to go back
Remember that we will only receive the file you have created once you have completed your order
Please note that if you change your mind, after confirming your order (file submission and payment or Cash on Delivery selection) you have 30 minutes to delete the file from the Upload area. Once deleted, you can upload a new file at any time. In this case, the existing design created in Designer cannot be edited and must be recreated from scratch if changes are needed
If you want a PDF copy (not editable) of your creation please write to our Customer Service with your order number and we will send it to you

If you have already placed your order you can also take advantage of Designer from your Upload area. Select the option "Create your file" and once you have finished your design click on "Continue" to confirm it and then on "Send the file for printing" to send it to production.

	"Designs" choose from hundreds of graphics and then customise them with your own content Select the filters to see the different industries, styles and themes See the available designs in a wide range of colours Use the "+" icon to insert the preferred design as a base for your graphics
	"Uploads" allows you to: Upload or drag your images (jpg, png, gif, bpm, pdf or ai for products printed in one colour or with laser engraving). If the dimensions correspond to the required ones it will automatically adapt to the template's surface, if not please remember you need to adjust it manually Search for an image you like among those available: just type a keyword in the search bar Use the "Edit" tool to easily remove your image's background, adjust the colour and brightness, and apply filters in an instant Crop, flip, fit to the page and adjust the opacity of your image If your image resolutions is well below the recommended limit, a yellow alert will appear. Upload a higher-resolution file or try enhancing the image by clicking on "Enhance with AI".
	"AI studio" uses Artificial Intelligence to: Suggest a content via the "Get inspired" function Create the image you are looking for by providing a detailed description and then clicking on "Generate"; if you don't like the first solution, continue clicking on the button to generate more content or change your description
	"Texts" enter your own content and customise: Font, font size, text settings Colour (click on the "+" to select a custom colour and save the colour code for future use) and transparency
	"Elements" choose among a wide range of shapes, icons and clipart and customise them to your taste
	"Backgrounds" use one of the backgrounds provided Single-colour backgrounds: select a standard colour or click on the '+' to select a custom one. If you're looking to replicate a colour from your image, just click on the eyedropper icon and select the exact spot for that colour to reflect on the background. We recommend saving the colour code for future uses Designs: select one of the suggested designs or create a completely customised pattern.You can choose or upload an image, which will be automatically converted into an ideal background for your projects. You can also adjust size, spacing, background colour and many other elements to achieve the perfect result!
	"Cutline" this option, available for die cut stickers, self-adhesive vinyl and rigid media with a custom shape, allows you to define the cut shape directly online. Once you've uploaded your image, you can choose the shape and, for custom cuts, decide how close the cut line should be to your graphics by selecting a close, medium, or wide margin
	"QR CODE" enter your URL to generate a QR code in a few seconds to enhance your design, perfect for easy access and interaction!
	"Your Brands" this option, available only after signing in to your account, allows you to create your brand kit by uploading your logos, which you can reuse at any time and from any device!
