How to use Designer

For most of our products you can create the artwork directly on our website using Designer for free. Our design tool allows you to create professional graphics and send them to production in just a few clicks, without needing graphic design softwares.

Our Designer tool is easy to use, but you will also find a tutorial (by clicking on the "?" symbol in the top right-hand corner once the tool is open) that explains its different functions.

You can learn more about how Designer works on the dedicated page.

  • "Your Brands" this option, available only after signing in to your account, allows you to create your brand kit by uploading your logos, saving brand assets, and reuse them across future projects and devices!

Editing your design online

Once elements have been added, you can:

  • Move
  • Rotate
  • Duplicate
  • Delete

them as required

To ensure correct positioning, always refer to:

  • Trim area (magenta)
  • Safe area (green)
  • Fold lines (yellow)

For large format products over certain dimensions, magenta dashed lines may indicate panel divisions.

For double-sided printed products or if the design is split into two tables, remember to customise all available sides or panels: find on the right how to switch from table 01 to table 02.

An exclamation mark may indicate:

  • Elements too close to the edge

  • White borders that may be printed
  • Important content that may be cut off

Some products also offer a 3D preview to help visualise the final result.

Saving your Designer project

  • You can save your project by clicking "Save" in the top bar (this feature is available only when logged in)
  • Drafts remain available for 6 months in the "My designs" section of your account

For more information, you can read this article about My Designs.

Completing your design online

When your design is ready:

  • Click on "Continue"

  • Review the preview carefully: verify the quality and positioning of all elements

  • Click on "Add to basket" to proceed or on "Edit your files" at the top left to go back

Remember that we will only receive the file you have created once the order has been completed.

After placing your order

If you change your mind after confirming your order, you have 30 minutes to delete the file from the Upload area. Once deleted, you can upload a new file at any time. In this case, the original Designer project cannot be edited, and any modifications must be recreated from scratch.

If you would like a PDF copy (not editable) of your design, contact Customer Service once the order enters production and provide your order number.

If you have already placed your order but have not yet submitted your file, you can access Designer from the Upload Area by selecting "Create your file".

Designer not available

Only a few products (such as Books & Magazines) or configurations (such as selective white, special finishes, or products with graphic variants) do not support Designer at the moment. If you don't find the "Create your file" option you need to upload a print-ready file following instructions and template or ask for our help through Design Services.

We're constantly working to provide you a complete and pleasant experience with new features to create your file online!

If you still have any doubts, please contact us. We'll be happy to help!
