These materials are all suitable to be applied on smooth walls, windows, plastic, laminated wood, metal and glass surfaces. These decals are designed to last long: when in need to remove them, do it carefully.  

Polymeric vinyl: this flexible material offers excellent water resistance and adhesion to a wide range of surfaces both flat and curved. Pick this option when in need to cover streetlamps, columns, curved windows and plastic objects, slightly irregular media. The grey back makes the design stand out even when applied to coloured or metal surfaces, hiding the underneath painting or graphics. 

Transparent vinyls: can be applied to flat and smooth surfaces, especially used for glass. Please consider that colours printed directly onto this material may appear dull: to avoid this effect and make your communication more visually appealing and easier to read from a distance, we recommend adding “selective white", which not only allows you to make colours more opaque, but also to print white elements on a transparent background

If you’re looking for an adhesive vinyl to be applied on the inside and visible from the outside of a window, remember to select "mirrored printing". You can select “Solid white” option (applied to the entire printing surface) as a base for your graphics to ensure the transparency of the material does not alter the design or make it appear dull. In this way you’ll get a decal to be applied from the inside with a white background. 

Perforated vinyls: if you’re looking for a decal to apply on transparent surfaces where the artwork is only visible from the outside, we offer One Way Self-Adhesive Vinyl. This white monomeric perforated material with a black back is perfect for transparent surfaces, ideal for bus, car and van windows as it’s specifically designed to allow vision in one direction only. 

Do you need your artwork to be seen from both inside and outside without obstructing the view? Print on our Two-Way Self-Adhesive Vinyl: this transparent, perforated material is ideal for applying to shop windows or vehicles (no white printing available). Please note that your artwork will appear mirrored on the adhesive side. 

Easywall: this easy-to-remove material can be applied to walls (not recommended on drywall), glass and even slightly irregular surfaces. Available both white and transparent, thanks to its special 'micro-suction' adhesion you'll be able to position and reposition it extremely easily when applying it, without bubbles forming. Please note that white printing is not available for transparent EasyWall. 

For a more responsible choice, take a look at our PVC-free options, still offering the same performance as the traditional material. 

Gloss cast vinyl with grey back: excellent for decorating vehicles, it adapts perfectly to irregular and curved surfaces. This material does not become misshapen over time, making it perfect for a long-term advertising. 

Backlit opal vinyl: this self-adhesive vinyl is ideal for application to flat, backlit surfaces such as windows, signs and light boxes. Its opaque design diffuses light bringing out the printed graphics. 

Refix electrostatic film: available both transparent and white, this 100% recyclable PVC-free polyethylene film sticks electrostatically to smooth or glass surfaces. It can be repositioned several times without leaving any residue, making it great for seasonal advertising. Please note that white printing is not available for transparent film. 

Safeway is ideal for retail space, office, school, or trade fair floors. This self-adhesive vinyl is covered with an embossed anti-slip film which helps prevent slipping. Use it on floors made of a range of flat materials to indicate the route for your visitors to follow, to decor your internal space or to promote a new product. This adhesive is water and cleaning products resistant. Not recommended for outdoor use. 

Pre-spaced vinyls: available in a wide range of colours and even with a sand-blasted/acid-etched effect, pre-spaced vinyl lettering can transform any surface into a powerful message board. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use on flat or slightly uneven surfaces, it allows for crisp and vibrant designs that are custom cut to any shape or size. Save money and time ordering a single decal with multiple internal cuts, combining different graphics and subjects: you will be able to easily apply them one by one.  

Magnetic sheeting: this 900μ material is perfect for temporary advertising as it does not leave any residue and can easily be repositioned. The black back covers any underneath colour. You can apply it on any metal surface such as vehicle bodywork or iron walls, even outdoors, thanks to its resistance to UV light.

To ensure the magnetic sign is held as firmly as possible, the surface to which is being attached must be predominantly ferrous and as clean as possible. Also, the back of the material should be cleaned with soapy water and dried before the application. We recommend not to place the sign on newly printed surfaces, and mainly suggest a temporary application: this product is meant to be attached and removed frequently, for permanent use consider instead the durable vinyls described above. FAQ

• How do I apply self-adhesive vinyls? 

The application method for self-adhesive vinyls varies depending on the type of material you choose and the surface you are applying it to. You can find detailed instructions for each type of vinyl and surface on this article.

• How do I remove decals? 

Refix film and magnetic sheeting are the only repositionable materials, as they don’t need glue to be applied. All the other vinyls have glue on the back and are designed to last longer: when in need to remove them do it carefully and, if you find any residue, oil or specific products can help removing them. 

• Which self-adhesive vinyl materials are suitable for outdoor use?

For outdoor use, we higly recommend choosing media that can be laminated; indeeed, lamination makes self-adhesive vinyl prints more durable and resistant to weather conditions.

Please note that EasyWall is mainly designed for indoor wall applications. Thanks to its micro-suction technology, it's ideal for quick, bubble-free installation, but it's not suitable for prolonged outdoor exposure. We also recommend avoiding electrostatic materials outdoors, as rain or humidity may prevent them from adhering properly to the surface.

• Are all decals white? 

Our vinyls are all white on the front side, except for the transparent ones. The back colour may vary: help yourself with pictures and “i” description to find out whether the back is white or coloured to cover any underneath surface. 

• What type of self-adhesive vinyl should I choose to apply a window sticker from the inside of the glass, but have it visible from the outside?

For this type of application, choose transparent adhesive vinyl and select mirror printing (this is what allows the sticker to be applied from the inside and read correctly from the outside). Keep in mind that the print will be applied directly onto the transparent material, so the colours may appear dull. To prevent this, you can add white printing: choose selective white to print white elements or enhance the richness of the colours, or select solid white (white ink applied to the entire printed surface) to block any transparency and achieve a solid white background.

• I need to cover a signboard with a self-adhesive vinyl, which material should I choose? 

Choose grey back material for maximum opacity. The grey backing stops light from penetrating, allowing your artwork to really stand out even when applied on coloured surfaces.

• I'm looking for a frosted, sandblasted effect vinyl for a window. Which option should I select?

For frosted window decals, you can refer to our Pre-spaced vinyl decals, selecting the Sand-blasted/Acid-Etched effect Adhesive Vinyl. Please note that this material is only available for this product: the transparent self-adhesive vinyl found among the window stickers is completely clear. Since pre-spaced vinyl decals involve multiple cuts, if you want to create an adhesive with a single external cut, remember to send your file with the CutContour path corresponding only to the outer shape.

• In case of large dimensions, will I receive a single piece adhesive? 

Maximum size in one piece depends on the material, please read the "i" of information description to check if your item will be printed in one or more pieces with an overlap part to facilitate the application. Find the information available also using Designer and in the template provided. 

• Is front and back printing available for any vinyl? 

No, front and back printing is not available as it is not possible to print on the sticky side of the material. If you’re looking for your design to be displayed from both sides, you could opt for Two Way Self-Adhesive Vinyl as the combination of the transparent vinyl and perforation means the artwork can be seen from both inside and outside (mirrored on the sticky side). 

• May I have internal or multiple cuts? 

Internal and multiple cuts are available in the shape and quantity you want, only ordering Pre-Spaced Vinyl Decals. For all the other materials you can order a rectangular or cut to shape decal.  

• What’s the untrimmed option? 

Ordering an untrimmed adhesive, you will get a vinyl with a width corresponding to the material reel size (not customisable) and the height you select. Not being trimmed, please note there will be unprinted strips at the edges of the product. 

• What’s the size of the holes of the perforated materials? 

The holes diameter is about 1.5 mm for both one way and double side vinyl.  

• When selecting “Mirrored printing”, how do I have to send my file? 

If you have selected the “Mirrored printing” option or any material which implies mirrored printing itself (such as Transparent Refix Electrostatic Film – Mirrored), remember to send us the file in a standard view: it will be mirrored automatically when printed. 

• How do I create my file in case of selective or solid white? 

Please read this article to learn how to create a correct file with white printing. 

If you have chosen the “Solid white” option instead, there’s no need to create any additional layer: send us your standard file and we will take care of everything. 

• How can I create my decal design?
