	Closed format: first select the closed format of your publication. Choose between standard formats (us letter, standard portrait, us trade, digest) or customize it as you prefer: from 3.94” x 4.73” to 11.69” x 11.69”, you can create a fully personalized perfect-bound book that truly stands out. Want to wow your readers? Go for a unique square or an eye-catching stretched format!
	Orientation: Simply choose a portrait or landscape layout for your book. Please remember that staples are always on the left side of the closed product. If your publication is in a right-to-left script (like in RTL languages), make sure to design your graphics with the content flowing from the end to the beginning for a seamless reading experience. Number of pages: Let's talk page count! Insert the total number of pages (it must be minimum 20 and a multiple of 2) including the cover (4 pages). Example: if you have 50 inside pages, the total number of pages must be 54, as the cover always counts as 4 (even if you choose to leave the inside cover blank, those pages are still part of the count)
	Paperback cover: Your cover will be printed on the paper chosen and with the highest grammage available for a premium feel. You can print the front and back, as well as the inside front and inside back. If you don’t need any content on the inside cover, just add a blank page. As explained in the instructions provided, the internal spine can’t be printed to ensure the adhesion of the inside pages to the cover (this ensures your book stays beautifully bound!)
	Hardback cover A hardback cover is made with a 0.08" thick cardboard core wrapped in 100 lb Satin paper. The outside cover always includes lamination. Choose between gloss, matte or soft touch for the finish. All hardback books come with standard endpapers made of uncoated paper (not customizable). Each endpaper is a folded sheet: One side is glued to the inside cover The other side becomes the first blank page before your content begins (same for the back cover) Hardback covers give your book or catalog a polished, professional, and elegant look. Test the product by ordering a single copy, then take advantage and surprise your audience with these sophisticated options
	The spine dimension will automatically be displayed at the end of the quote once you’ve selected the paper type and grammage. Be sure to consider this when designing your cover graphic (you can find more detailed information in the instructions document on the product page). The template is updated following the quote details: download it and find the spine already marked
	Paper: choose between coated and uncoated papers and select the weight that best suits your needs among the ones available. Please note that it is not possible to print the inside pages in very high grammages, nor to print the cover on thin papers (this ensures top-notch quality and durability for your book!) Select through: Uncoated paper: (60, 80, 100 lb + 120lb for paperback cover only) a white, natural uncoated paper, wood-free and durable, best choice for handwriting and a classic, elegant feel Recycled paper: (80lb) uncoated and made with 100% recycled fibres, available only for inside pages, it marks your publication as environmentally friendly. A great way to show you care! Satin paper: (70, 80, 100lb + 130lb for paperback cover only) a long-lasting white, wood-free, coated paper that enhances the quality of photographs, bringing out the smallest details perfectly and producing clear text for a smooth, sophisticated look Gloss paper: (70, 80, 100lb + 130lb for paperback cover only) a white, wood-free, gloss coated paper. Its brightness, silky finish and durability produce long-lasting and sharp printed images with rich, full colors that really pop! We offer the possibility to print cover and inside pages with different paper types and weights. This means you can mix and match for the perfect custom creation! The paperback cover is usually printed on high weight paper and is frequently laminated. Adding coating is recommended to protect the print from scratches and liquids. Furthermore, lamination adds a touch of elegance to your publication, enhancing colors and providing a polished effect. It’s a fantastic way to boost durability and visual appeal! We offer gloss coating for glossy papers, to add brightness to your graphics, and matte or soft touch coating for satin papers, for a shine-free finish that still ensures a sophisticated appearance – go with the soft touch for an even more exclusive finish thanks to its velvety touch. Want that extra wow-factor? Soft touch lamination feels incredible and adds a luxurious, velvety feel. Just remember to use uncoated, smooth paper if you plan to write on your printed product. If you need to print a shorter publication, saddle stitched is the best choice for you.

Is it necessary to wait before using a perfect binding (glue-bound)?

Yes, we recommend letting the book rest for at least 24 hours after delivery. This allows the glue used for binding to dry and properly set, ensuring greater strength and durability over time.

Is it possible to add tabs or dividers within a perfect binding?

No, our perfect binding process doesn't currently support adding pages of different sizes or dividers. This ensures a clean, seamless look for your book!

Do you offer black and white printing for books?

Absolutely! If you upload a black and white file, we'll print it beautifully in rich black using our CMYK process, giving you crisp, high-quality results.

Do you offer hardcover or cover with flaps?

Right now, we specialize in perfect-bound softcover books. We don't offer hardcover or covers with flaps at this time.

Are your perfect binding publications offset or digital printing?

We use top-of-the-line digital printing to deliver vibrant colors and sharp details, ensuring your perfect-bound publications look absolutely amazing!

How can I create my design?

While our online Designer tool to create the layout from scratch isn't available for this specific product just yet, we've got you covered!
