How to enhance the Embossed Foil Finish

The embossed foil finish is created by applying a clear polymer to the areas you want to highlight, which must be indicated in your file using the “Finishing” color swatch. The polymer is then cured, resulting in a tactile, 3D effect and a glossy finish.

Here are some tips for optimizing embossed foil:

  • Use Contrast: To achieve a high-impact effect, apply the embossed foil over printed elements. It will be most visible when applied to high-contrast designs (example: dark graphics on a light background).

  • Avoid Blank Areas: Avoid applying the embossed foil to an area without graphics or color. If applied directly to a solid background, the varnish will be barely visible, and text or logos may become difficult to read.

For the best results, only apply the Embossed Foil directly over printed graphic elements.
