LET'S FIND YOUR PERFECT FIT!

To help you choose the most suitable product, we guide you through dedicated pages detailing roll labels, organized by intended use, shape, and material. Print labels for bottles jar or for mailing. Choose from clear, white or waterproof materials. Find your oval, square, or round label.

This way, you can quickly identify the option that best meets your needs.

SHAPE and SIZE

Choose from a variety of standard shapes (rectangle, square, rectangular with rounded corners, square with rounded corners, circle, oval, starburst, lollipop with two circles) or select “Custom” to create a custom shape. Create any shape you need to better fit your brand identity or your specific needs. In this case, the shape must be specified in the file following these instructions

Depending on the format you choose, you can enter custom width and height (from 0.4 x 0.4” up to 11.81 x 11.81”) or select from the standard dimensions offered.

MATERIALS

Choose your preferred printing substrate from a wide selection of plastic materials and papers. Remember to click the “i” icon to read a full description, with pictures, of each material.

  • Plastic: suitable for outdoor use, durable, and difficult to tear. Our polypropylene labels are available in various colors (white, clear, metallic silver and holographic rainbow) with the option of white ink printing for non-white substrates. Give your labels a 100% waterproof and long-lasting life in wet or damp conditions: choose BOPP when printing cosmetics or food labels that are exposed to low temperatures, water, oil or other agents.

When you need to apply the label from the inside of a window choose the clear BOPP with the mirror printing option to have your design clearly visible from the outside and fully protected by the internal application.

  • Standard paper: ideal for indoor use, perfect for a simple and clean finish. We offer a glossy white paper option to ensure vivid colors and easy application on materials such as cardboard or plastic wraps. Opt instead for uncoated white paper when you need to write on the label as it provides no varnish or coating.
  • Premium paper: papers with special finishes for an elegant and distinctive effect and with additional strength and resistance to damp conditions. Choose grass paper for an eco-friendly appearance as it’s a yellow-brown colored paper with natural fibers. It’s particularly suited for bottle labeling due to the resistance of the adhesive to wet and damp conditions. Also, betulla laid paper is recommended for damp surfaces and low temperatures: go for this chalk-colored, self-adhesive 100% cellulose paper for labeling high-end products such as wines and luxury items. Wet-strength paper is a white paper designed specifically for wine, spirits, and craft beverages making it ideal for customising wine or beer bottles that will be immersed in ice buckets. It features special wet-strength additives that help resist wrinkling and disintegration when exposed to condensation.

UNWIND DIRECTION

If you’re applying labels manually, changing the unwind direction of the roll probably won't affect you. Keep it selected as “not important” and you’ll receive the labels as shown in the “right of copy” picture, the orientation of the label on the roll will be the same as the file you send.

If instead you're trying to adapt the roll to a labeling machine, you may need to change the orientation of your roll labels: follow the picture to better understand what you need.

Submit the file in the normal reading direction: your artwork will be automatically rotated during production.

LABEL GAPPING (In)

This option is particularly useful for automatic labellers, as it allows you to set the distance between one label and the next along the roll according to your machine’s requirements (Minimum distance: 0.16" - Maximum distance: 3.93"). For manual application, the minimum distance automatically suggested will be sufficient.

DIVIDED IN SUB-ROLLS

You can choose whether to receive one roll (13” high) or divide it into smaller rolls: this may help if you need to split the rolls to different recipients, for example, or if they're meant to be used in different places. Smaller rolls are also easier to handle when applying your adhesives manually. If you need to adjust the roll to an applying machine, please take into consideration the roll sizes as you can’t customize them further than the options shown on the website, that depend on the label size you set:

Rolls’ size available

  • 1 roll, h 13”
  • 2 rolls, h 6.2”
  • 3 rolls, h 4.3”
  • 4 rolls, h 3.2”
  • 5 rolls, h 2.6”
  • 6 rolls, h 2.2”

COATINGS AND LAMINATION

To enhance durability and improve the appearance of your labels, an extra protection is applied according to the material you select:

  • Anti-scratch varnish: a scratch-resistant protective gloss coating that can be applied to the label to protect it from scuffing and UV light
  • Matt lamination: a matt, transparent plastic film that protects the print
  • Gloss lamination: a glossy, transparent plastic film that protects the print
  • Soft Touch lamination: a transparent protective film with a soft touch velvet finish and soft feel

The available options depend on the material you choose: you may find only one or Several options. Each material features a lamination except for uncoated paper, otherwise, you wouldn't be able to write on it.

INSIDE DIAMETER OF ROLL

The rolls on which we print our labels have a standard inner core diameter of 3 inches (7.6 cm).

QUANTITY

When selecting the quantity, you’re choosing the number of labels you want to receive from a minimum of 100 to a maximum of 10000. You’re not deciding how many rolls you’re receiving: depending on the size and number of labels you may receive them in one or more rolls, for larger orders. Of course, if you selected the sub-rolls option, you’ll receive smaller labels as set in the order.

FAQ
  • How are roll labels applied?

Roll labels are pre-cut and arranged on a continuous backing, making them easy to peel and apply by hand or with an automatic labeling machine.

If you need individual adhesive stickers instead, you can find the product you’re looking for here.

  • How many rolls will I receive?

We always print your labels on a single roll height 13”. If you order a very large quantity, labels may be split into two or more rolls. Of course, if you selected the sub-rolls division when placing your order, you’ll receive the smaller rolls in the number displayed

  • What does “custom quantity” mean?

The custom quantity indicates the number of labels to be printed, not the number of rolls.

  • Can I customize the roll?

The roll height is standard (13”) and not customizable. You can opt for smaller rolls by selecting the sub-rolls division option. Also, you can adjust the label gapping changing the distance between the labels from a minimum of 0.16" to a maximum of 3.93".

  • Can labels be in contact with food?

No, labels cannot be applied directly to food; apply them to the packaging or the paper wrapping.

  • Can I apply roll labels to fabrics?

No, roll labels are not suitable for fabrics.

  • I need to cover a product price with the label, which material should I choose?

Metallic Silver and Holographic Rainbow BOPP are the best choices. Please note that you need to add the white printing option to print white or to have it as a background underneath other colors.

  • Can I get one or more internal cuts?

No, it is not possible to have internal cuts on adhesive materials.

  • Can I remove the sticker and stick it to another surface?

No, our adhesives are designed for one-time application

  • Why are there blank spaces on the roll?

While printing the labels on the roll, for quality reasons, some meters may be skipped: please continue to unroll, and you will find all the labels you ordered printed!

Also, you may find some blank space, at the beginning of the roll, to protect the printed labels: remove the barcode label and unroll it!

  • What’s the difference between varnish and lamination?

They are both added to protect your print. Varnish is a sprayed gloss coating while lamination is a plastic film applied to the printed surface (available in both matte and gloss). We recommend the latter for a more durable solution.

How can I create my label design?

We give you two easy options! Use our free online designer to create a standard shape sticker right in your browser. For pros creating a file with design software, we have helpful guides on setting up your files for custom shape cut and white printing.
